TravelStore crafts unique itineraries for vacationers looking to travel in style and personalizes superior corporate travel programs for a sophisticated clientele. With dozens of regional teams, thousands of listings, and varying buyer journeys, their national platform had to serve diverse needs while driving consistent conversions. After consolidating multiple regional sites, Brookfield Residential faced the challenge of unifying disparate content, goals, and user expectations. Each division brought its own priorities. We worked closely with teams across the U.S. and Canada to align around a shared UX strategy that supported both local customization and brand-wide consistency.
Through collaborative planning, detailed user journeys, and stakeholder interviews, we developed a flexible design system that scaled across regions. From discovery to prototype to implementation, each improvement was tailored to meet the complex realities of modern homebuying—without overwhelming users or internal teams.
Our team had to learn a whole new industry vocabulary while gaining a deep knowledge of how master planned communities are developed and marketed. Combined with user research, this allowed us to understand the nuances of home buyer needs while developing a first to market interactive community map and home shopping experience. The updated shopping experience centers around an interactive, searchable map of Brookfield Residential properties. The addition of the map UI elements improved the digital product design and its overall user experience. Now it’s easier for homebuyers to navigate and find specific home details and community amenities and book a tour from mobile and desktop devices.
